OUR COLOR ANALYSTS

Scott Vanderkolk is the Health and PE Teacher at Linton-Stockton School Corporation.

He has led the Linton Miners for (now in his 11th season) as Linton- Stockton HS Varsity Volleyball Coach. He graduated from IUPUI in 2011 with a degree in Physical Education.

Addy Walton is a Junior at Linton-Stockton High School. She is a member of the B-Town Volleyball Club, Linton United First United Methodist Church, and is involved in a number of school clubs. She is currently on the path to study elementary education, and works at a local daycare in the Linton area. 

She attended the 2026 Indiana University High School Journalism Institute in July 2026 where she completed the sportscasting seminar with over 100 students across the United States.

You will find her behind the announcer's table for HS Volleyball and filling in at various other sports.  

Dan Phillips has covered Miner Football for (now) his 27th Season. He marked 26 years in color announcing during the 2025 football season,
the last 14 being with Media Five Sports (the last three he worked alongside Kevin Rader). He also had one year (2001) with his Dad broadcasting as the color man (before his passing in spring 2002).

Dan is a 1981 Graduate of Linton-Stockton HS and participated in both football and basketball since third grade. IN 1980, he held the Wabash Valley and All Tri-County defensive award. He is a 1981 Graduate of Vincennes University and has worked at his Alma Mater in the department/division technology/parts shop since fall 1995. He originally went to college for Radio/TV at VU with a desire to do sports broadcasting.

Daniel’s father, Dan, was a football coach who retired as athletic director at Linton. His mother was lifelong elementary teacher. His sister, two nieces, and nephew were all Linton grads AND involved in sports during their years at Linton.

Dan has also been a professional musician for many years as has performed in 32 states for the past 45+ years. He loves that his Mom tunes in every game night.

Greg Elliott has been involved in coaching both basketball and softball for over 35 years and enjoys watching all sports.

He is a 1984 Graduate of Linton-Stockton High School and grew up playing several sports. Greg was a member of the Linton golf team that went to the State Finals in 1984 Attended Danville (IL) Area Community College. He played junior college golf where he qualified his freshman year for NJCAA National tournament. After graduating with a degree in Horticulture and Turf Maintenance, Greg spent four years working in landscape design before getting involved in the building material industry in 1990.

He and his wife, Katie, are lifelong residents of Linton and have four daughters and five grandkids. They own Heritage Lumber & Supply in Linton as of January 1, 2025 (formally BG Supply). Greg is also owner of E2 Custom Creations.



His overall record with the team (at the end of 2025) was 232-94. Other recognitions include:
