High School Band

Jeffrey Mayfield is the Director of Bands at Linton-Stockton Community Schools. He is an alum of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where he earned his degree in Instrumental Music Education with a percussion focus. Mr. Mayfield performed as a part of the Concert Band, IU Percussion Ensemble, and the IU Drumline for the Marching Hundred! He loves teaching his students in grades 5-12 in concert band and general music. He also enjoys furthering his knowledge of audio engineering and visual editing for his own interests. Outside of the school day, Mr. Mayfield enjoys playing golf and tennis, watching basketball, and spending time with his wife and son.

2023-2024 Director Bio:
Logan Harness was the Band Director for Linton-Stockton from 2019-2024. During his time as Director, the High School band received a gold rating at ISSMA contest for four years in a row, and the Middle School band received a gold rating for two years.
